Home grown tomatoes...can't beat 'em! :) Sadly home gardens in this area didn't do too awfully well...too much rain for some of the ones with heavy clay. I love to pick them with salt shaker in hand while still warm from the sun...oh, that burst of flavor! Heavenly!

Looking yummmmmmmy Denise. You're quite a bit ahead of me..but then again I see that most of the country is!!! I'm just thankful I don't live any closer to the mountains or I would never see a tomato turn red on the vine.

I can remember being a very very little girl at my grandmothers house doing just that. Tomatoes are my absolute favorite summer vegetable.
