checked my muckmelons 3 days ago, seemed like they were a week or two from being ripe, the mottling was well pronounced, but the skin was still a dark green and the fruit was still well attached to the stem. I check them the next day and they're turning yellow and fall right off the stem. And today i found the same thing, melon went from looking a week at least from being ripe and overnight it turns yellow and falls off the vine. I cut one of them open and it looked awesome, smelled just like it should and tasted wonderful, tender and very juicy, but not watery, was almost like a thin syrup. I've got one in the fridge now for breakfast in the morning, i'll take some pics of it and post them.
