I thought it better to start a new thread with this as there are 10 photos. First of all, the compost mix. Equal parts by volume of peat, soil based potting mix, composted bark and perlite.
These are the seedlings I am going to work on. They are C. graecum and there are many more ungerminated seeds in that pot.
I have tipped the contents of the pot out into the palm of my hand. Be careful to stop the compost from breaking up at this point.
Now I have removed the soil from the bottom of that block of compost right up the the roots of the seedlings and have put it to one side.
A 7x7x8 cm pot filled with compost and a hole in it ready to receive the seedling. No need for a dibber to make the hole, just use your finger.
A seedling which has been broken away from the clump, but that still has a plug of compost around the small tuber. I find that keeping a plug around the tuber helps minimise the shock from the transplant.
The seedling is now potted up.
Finally, a top dressing of grit to finish off.
Now you have two trays of compost. The one closest to the camera has what's left of the seedling clump in it which will contain ungerminated seeds. The tray furthest away has the compost I removed from the bottom of the seed pot. Put the latter back in a pot and then top off with the former.
Top off with some fresh grit and wait for the rest to germinate. It's not an ideal practice but it works if you have/want to get the germinated seedlings out.

Excellent! While the verbal description was good, the photo essay is far better. This is exactly what I'll do, although my pot of seedlings is 8" in diameter. I think I'll still wait a while, however. Some of the sprouts are brand new, and have no seed leaf yet.

Another great internet tutorial brought to us by Tim. Thanks for the taking the time, something we can all learn from. Now I have to save it for future reference.
