The seed of this hederifolium came from Tim. It's turned out to be a nice long leaf!

That's an improvement on the parent plant, Carol!

Hederifolium and its variability ... is there any other cyclamen species that is as variable as hederifolium? That upper leaf in your second photo, Carol, looks more interesting to me as someone who likes patterns.

C. graecum runs very close, Matthias. Leaf patterns in graecum seem to have an infinite amount of variation, but despite this, it doesn't do much for me at all. All of my stock graecum are going outside next summer. I'm as impressed by the degree of variation present in leaf shape of hederifolium as I am of leaf pattern variation.

Matthias, I like 'em all! Patterns, Long John Silver as I call the seedling from Tim's stock, all sorts of shapes and patterns, down to the plain green. I've noticed silver is quite variable and many leaves are more a pale green. Now when I observe the silver, I think of tiny bubbles!
this one came from Arrowhead Alpines
This hederifolium in the ground is just one tuber but has very long petioles! It certainly wouldn't make a good show plant since it would be flopping about.
