Hi everybody, Just to show you all our new C. purpurascens. Like C. mirabile 'Tilebarn Nicholas' this plant shows leaves with a pink flush around the x-mas tree pattern. Some seedlings do the same so we hope to have this new variety in a couple of years. Welcome to gardenbuddies Jan! I do hope this post shows in your thread-it seems that there is some problem and two gardenbuddies responses have landed up in my thread "coum?". That is a beauty, we hope to see you often and you will share your photos.

This is beautiful. Very special. Sure to delight even when not in bloom.

Welcome to this forum, Jan. I think we all hope to see more from you here. That leaf is very interesting and, at least for me, definitely something new. I guess the pink coloration fades after a few weeks together with the tiny hairs as the leaf matures. Hope you can stabilize that trait!
