21 July 2oo6. Second picking of the green and yellow beans. This container is from the first two rows, total length about 14 feet. The row near the trellis is not ready yet. Perfect quality. The first picking two days ago was about the same quantity.

28 July 2006. Third picking of the beans. All three rows were picked today.

1 Aug 2006. Fourth picking of the three rows of beans. Excellent quality and no bug damage.
Beans require warm soil. I plant them about 1 June, since earlier they do do not grow well in Zone 5.
