Can someone tell me if I can transplant garlic. It's in a part of the garden that's not convenient based on this year's plan. Also there are multiple stems coming from one location. Can I separate these? I've never grown garlic before. Thanks.

I suggest you forget the garlic this year. Use the few greens you get from the clump, but clove production is out of the question. There is another thread under Edibles in the Garden about garlic which should answer your question in more detail.
