My first posting...hope I got this right :) Am I correct in starting a "new" thread? This is an angel a friend cut out of an old piece of wood for my garden. I painted the dress white and sealed it. My husband made the wings and halo out of galvanized wire. I plan on making a Christmas version for the garden with a nice red dress and some holly painted on the bottom (something like that anyhow).

Thank you. I made a living wreath this evening; I'll have to show you a photo. I am so excited about this site and spring. I can hardly sleep at night; being a new mom I really need sleep but have so many ideas floating around in my head. Have you made anything lately? Have a great night. Monique

Awesome Garden Angel Monique! I just got another garden angel for my wife for Mother's Day and her birthday. It is one she saw at a local nursery and remarked how pretty it was. I gave it to her early too. She says it is too pretty to put outside in the garden though. :o) Yours looks wonderful in your garden. Stan the Roseman

I got it, and I'll have that out to you in the next couple of days. You'll have to post a photo when you are done! It would be nice to see these angels in different gardens around the world don't you think? As always happy gardening. Monique

This is another photo of the garden angel peeking out of garden, gives a good idea of the scale. Her white dress helps bring light to a shady spot.

Hi everyone, I am starting to feel the spring itch to garden, still about two months away but great time to start planning... My son is turning 18 months old this month, so I am hoping to garden more this spring/summer. He can at least help his Mama water the plants now :) I was wondering Stan if you ever did make the angel?
