First we unwrapped the plastic from it. This is the wrong side of it - hope you can tell
Next we turned it over and now the green philo. leaf has to be peeled off.
The leaf has gone and a little bit of tidying up to do.
Next step put it somewhere in the garden (just temporary) and hose it each day.
Voila - "our first cement leaf"

Very nice Carolyn !! I once pressed ferns into cement of a patio I had poured. It turned out really pretty. I forgot how cool that looks. I think your leaf would look really nice embedded in the ground with dirt worked into the cracks. Like a natural looking fossil stepping stone. Good job !! Thanks for sharing.

That is so cool! You definately have to supply me with the "how to" directions to do this.

Yes it will be set into the new lawn but it has to stay where it is at present and hosed several times a day.

I would love to see the photos, but all I've been getting all day is the big red X..but knowing who made it, I'm sure it's looking good!!

The cement leaf was indeed beautiful.Caro has removed them from her Picture Trail album perhaps. That is why we get red x,s sometimes. I would love to see them again..Nicely weathered by now I am sure.
