Out taking my morning walk, I noticed the lady down the street putting this out for the garbage to pick up!! can you imagine?? It'sa the sides and back to a heavy metal Day Bed..A few more modifications.. and I'll have added another treasure to my Garden.. Like I really Need another one, huh?? LOL

Clematis...I think it needs clematis! (It is pretty alone though too.) Great find. DH wants me to walk blind folded on garbage days....

GB..Clematis is what it will get, as soon as I find some at a good price. I don't want to move any I already have..but it will happen..

Me neither. Maybe your neighbour made a mistake? It will look great in the garden, but maybe it should be in the house!

Julie, it wasn't a mistake.. I asked the lady if she was putting it out for the trash , and she said"yes' so I asked if I could have it.. Yes, it was a daybed, and if I'd stoped to think(I was so excited) I would have taken the springs, too, and put it in the guest room. It's heavy iron, not flimsy, and in great shape. O, well, it looks great in the garden, and next year, it WILL have Clematis on it..promise!!
