In my secret garden in the woods..I kept eyeing this old rusty fence..I took wire cutters and cut it ..it had been discarded there..I rolled it into a circle and will use it as a clematis support.
Not everyone was as excited about it as I was

It's beyond me why no one else thinks these finds are as fantabulous as we do.Looks like a great support for clems.

I have that problem, too! They just don't get it, do they?

I love your fence. It has those lovely decorative arches. Recycling at its best!

I like it too Monique. I had a little "constructive criticism" about my obelisks - until the plants grew up them and then they were a real hit! Some people just don't have an imagination.

Monique, don't let the turkeys get you down. Just because they don't have vision shouldn't discourage you or anyone else with creative vision from taking something that might be considered a discard and turning it into a work of art.

Monique I would LOVE to find a discarded roll of that type of fence. Good for you.

I know what you mean. First there is my pump. Then there is my "new" little wheelbarrow covered in rust, an old gate... a "new" old barrel. Only lovely in my eyes. Then there is the wagon. I must do a thread on that to see what you gb's think. GREAT find Monique.

You are so cute! Mitch has a low tolerance for garden accoutrements shall we say too.
I think it suits the spot you have it in nicely. It's not like it is in the middle of your lawn all alone.

Hey make sure your tetanus shot is current, everyone.

I love that! I am going to some sort of run down antique/junk places with DD soon to find something for my garden. No point in taking DH....First, he wouldn't like what I like, until it is in place and everyone else says it's great, and second, he would decide to make something else and he would be occupied for six months and the garden would be put to bed for another season. Although he does wonderful work...

Hmmm...occupied for six months....
