This is a lovely plant and flowers for a long time. Not many fowers have this rich colour - I love it.

Its a great perennial. I plant it within other plants so it kind of "peeks out" and doesn't flop over. Good thing it self-seeds, because I lost many of them this past winter.}

I lost my plant over the winter, it was in a pot on my deck. But this summer I've noticed that a neighboring pot has a couple of plants which must be seedlings from my original plant. Hurray!

That's definitely a knautia macedonica seedling Sue, the serrations are a giveaway, and just think, now you'll never be without it.
