I had some copper pipe laying around and decided to out it to good use as something one of my clematis could climb. It's a pretty glowing copper now and will eventually patina into that lovely verdigris. This is my first attempt at anything like this, I think it turned out well. I used copper wire to hold it all together and as something the clem will be able to hold onto and climb up. The very bottom part that is sorta crooked will be buried under the mulch so you won't see it.
It's about four and half feet tall.

This is funny because I had just bought some copper pipe and wire from a home store. If I can make anything that looks presentable I'll share! I think yours turned out well.

And I am on that bandwagon too..I made the teacup feeders and liked the look with the copper. The curly top is the perfect finishing touch Meig!I love it.

It looks perfect for your Clematis.. did you hammer the copper pipe flat to make the top?? I really like it.
