This is my first time I have grown this plant, and I'm really impressed with it. It is about 4 ft tall (that's a tree fern beside it) and the leaves are intensely fuzzy and about 1 to 1 1/2 ft across with a nice light red tracery in them. It's a winter bloomer, but a great structural plant in the meantime.

David that is really a cool plant. I'm on the hunt early next year to find more hellabores that will live in my zone 4 and winter over. Yah right - dreamer! You have such great plants you can grow in your zone and your season is so long. Ours is beginning to wind down already. Thanks for sharing your new plant with us. By the way what is that lovely little purple plant in front of the new one? That too is delightful.

Very pretty plant, I'm sure it's not hardy in our zone. I'm curious about the color and shape of the flowers.

That looks as though it will grow very tall!
