I bought a ground cover type of plant this summer and have lost the tag and want to look it up.
It just said "silvers" on the Walmart sign when I bought it reduced to just 50 cents.
It is fuzzy like lamb's ears and has a stem with roundish leaves every few inches. Maybe I will try to get a picture of it tomorrow. It crawls around the ground and and filled out nicely. I want to see if it is only an annual.

Could this be the plant, Mary? The round silvery leaves - ignore the cosmos seed head and the Helianthemums poking through. This is Helichrysum petiolare (Helichrysum petiolatum) or licorice plant. It covers quite a large area pretty quickly.
I think it is actually a tender perennial (grown often as an annual). I understand it gets really woody after the first year if it winters over. I tried to winter some over in the greenhouse but it was an aphid magnet and I finally trashed it. Its pretty easy to replace.

Yes, I believe you are right. Thanks so much.
I think I may try to take some pieces of it inside this year in the winter. You are sure right about it spreading fast.
