Author Message   Goswimmin  My Favorite Photo My Weather Posted on Sunday, September 07, 2003 - 02:05 pm EST :    I have a very nice black eyed susan vine this year and would like to collect seeds so that I can have some next year. I just don't seem to see any seeds there. In the spot where the flowers were I just see the dried up flower and no seeds at all even though it has been blooming for about a month now. Is there anyone out there that has grown this and can tell mw what I am looking for? Soon a sort of a cone shaped pod will appear. When that opens a bit you will see the seed. It's large but maybe 1/4 the size of a pea. Arlene Zone 7 Long Island, NY
