Any clues as to the size of it? I've seen something similar somewhere in the Mediterranean (Corsica, I think) and it turned out to be spiders.

I think it's certainly a spider egg sac, it's about 2 inches long and it held by silk threads. I'll be keeping an eye on it.. I'd love to know what kind of spider made it.

I would guess spider egg sac, it does look like the one that the wolf spider was carrying around, but much bigger hurm...
