I've received a couple clematis in a trade. They came bare root and right now I have them in a glass at the kitchen window. I'm new to clematis and not sure if I pot them up or if they will be ok in the glass until spring. Can someone please give me some advise. Thanks Lesa

Put de clematis in pots with soil. After putting in a pot, keep the soil wet and store the plants in a good temperature so that the roots find there way in the soil. I do this every time when I get a bare rooted clematis and I did not loose any clematis

Yes, I agree. You must pot these up ASAP before they die from lack of nutrients ! Suzy

Guess I'm in the dark again, but Lesa, from which country and city do you hail? We're always interested in the demographics around a clematis garden.
