Hi, I'm fairly new to this forum. I love columbine and was so happy to find this unusual variety called "Woodside Gold."} Does anyone else have this chartreuse leaved columbine? I just got her planted tonight and wondered if anyone has the blue variety. That's what I have. I've also seen it in the rose variety...sooooooo beautiful! Tanya

Tanya, we have one of the woodside blue flowering one and just love the leaf colors. We have our in a pot and we are waiting to see if one of our other plants come back, if not this one will be the center piece for the island bed.

I saw this at the nursery today and it looks really nice (can't believe I didn't take a photo!). I wonder how strong a constitution it has.

Sunnyday hi and welcome Woodside gold is very hardy and tough and it comes in a wide range of colours from white, pink, red, pale blue, mid blue, and very dark plum. Personally I like the dark plum one as it makes a wonderful contrast to the yellow/green foliage.

Annette your foliage looks more mottled than the one I saw marked as Woodside Gold. Interesting!

Mimi, Collect some seeds if you can. That is a beautiful one. By the way, if anyone wants some seed from the wild Red and yellow variety, I will be having plenty pretty soon. Send me a SASE and I will put them in the mail to anyone who wants them. They get to be about 3-1/2 feet tall here in Tennessee and make a light, airy bouquet in the garden while they are blooming.
