Those both are very very pretty!!! I have been looking for some like that - the doubles. I saw a picture - I think it was on this forum - of strawberry icecream - or shortcake and I have looked in all the nurseries but so far have not located these. Does anyone know of an online source in canada where I could get some like these? Golden

Bill - that would be very nice of you - I could trade you for some really pretty double poppy seeds if you would like them? Golden

Golden, was this the picture you were thinking of? >I have one that flowers similar to your woodside gold. It is only about a foot fall and reminds me of a marshmallow dipped in strawberry juice. Have no idea of the type or how or when it got there.
Last year I had about 4 plants of pink vulgaris that selfseeded into a bed which contains mostly orange colored daylilies, with some white and blue accents. Didn't matter because nothing orange was blooming at the time. Looking more closely this year, I found one looks like the above but is about 3 ft tall.
If this is it, I could try to save some seeds for you. I think I lost the original, but one is blooming now about 6 feet away from where the other was, so there is a good chance that at least one of the seedlings would be a copy of the parent. Jims_wsw Maine zone 5a

Jim, Your flower almost looks wax like at least in the second photo. Very pretty. Thank you so much for the offer but I have a few seeds coming already and I am afraid I am going to run out of space soon. But I did email you directly. Thanks so much. Golden
