Every winter I play this game of taking cuttings to grow under lights, figuring that a little indoor colour might help me endure the grey season. Here's some of the coleus colour. (I throw away many more than survive...)
Begonia plant grown from a single leaf
Streptocarpus cuttings in bloom
Sure beats the foggy outdoors for colour!

Beautiful! I love the first Coleus and the fourth one, and that "Beefsteak" begonia is very nice! my Streptocarpella cuttings are kinda lagging, they had been in water for so long that it took a while for them to get "soil" roots. It is putting forth some nice new darker green shoots from the base so I know it will get looking better, hopfully as good as yours looks.

Wow, Marie, those are great! How did youi propagate all those plants. I never do well with coleus myself. And to grow a begonia from a leaf, what is you secret?
