I just read in Real Simple magazine that 2 tablespoons to a gallon of water once a month. They are saying the magnesium and sulfur from the salt will make house plants bushier and encourage flower growth more often Any one using Epsom salt?

Mg is a trace element, which i supposed to encourage the uptake of nurtients and other elements (NKP) Sulfur can be used as a fungicide. When my brugs turn yellowish, I add a sprinkle of epsom salt to make them green up again

Thanks for that quick response. So maybe I should put some on the shopping list?

Epsom salts are fine for the odd occasion when a plant seems to be struggling but prevention is better than cure Terry. If a plant is not taking up trace elements then it needs a change of environment, soil, more/less water etc. Epsom salts will only help temporarily.
