This plant is called "moses in a basket". Really neat!! Will get more of themselves off 1 plant:) Will get bushy too:) Good for indoors as well. HTH:)

yes it is a tradescantia spathacea or newly called rhoeo spathacea. no demanding plant, actually very easy to grow in any atmosferic conditions.

We call it Moses in the Boat. In the wondering Jew family. I grow it outside in the scorching hot AZ sun. Also can withstand frost. Will have more green if grown inside & will have more purple if grown ourside. Has the teeniest little purple blooms. Almost impossible to kill
