I was in the little woods across from our house, looking for an Eastern Towhee I could hear singing. I came upon the little summer group of does that frequent our neighborhood instead.

I didn't even have to crop the photos. That is how close we were!

Haven't seen them lately but do see their trails. The disappeared for a little while about this time last year too...I figure it has to do with getting ready to give birth to their new fawns.
