The snow is leaving and the rivers are braking up but with all of the snow we had that is now water the rivers are swollen we now have ice dams. this one was about 4 miles from my house on the roads and about 12 by the river.
my mom is about 5'4" just for reference.the ice jam went back at least 3 bends of the river that i could see.
this was taken about 3 hrs later i missed the brake up of it by about 10 min.
a peace of the ice love the crystals.

Wow Lisa...that is just amazing! It's unbelievable just how thick that ice is. Does this mean that spring has now arrived?
