Whilst hubby (Henk) was busy dead-heading the fuchsias in the front garden, he shouted, "Come and have a look at this".

Cheeky thing is having a banquet of fuchsia leaves, look how neatly he strips each one.
Yes it's the Elephant Hawk Moth Caterpillar which eventually turns into this:-

Neat captures, Kath! It really does look snake-like before it turns into the lovely moth. I think, given it's appetite for garden plants, I would rather admire this one.. from afar.
