He looks powerful, Greth. What are their natural predators?

Predators would only be dingoes, Sunny, but the dog fence keeps them well away from here. Farmers can, and do, get permits to shoot some, but ours are safe on our property, even if they do eat my roses back to sticks sometimes! Because of watering points for stock animals, some species are much more numerous than they were before white settlement in Australia. There is even kangaroo steak on the supermarket shelves, I don't eat it tho. We chase them out of the garden sometimes, but we don't go too close, these big males can hurt or kill if cornered. I'm amused that Jessie is familiar with these, but not with elevators or traffic lights. Seems good somehow! We will keep trying for a pic of the mum and baby.

It must take a lot to fill that stomach, Greth! Too bad it has to be your roses occasionally.

They are beautiful animals and were quite elusive when there, except the ones on the golf course who seemed more than happy just chilling in the shade :)

Your right about the big males Greth we have a monster around here and when walking Cooper he makes me cross the road cause he just wont budge and rears up to make himself bigger.
