Author Message   Greth  Posted on Friday, October 26, 2007 - 04:39 pm EST :    This is a bearded dragon which seems to be a new permanent resident of the ornamental garden. No fairies in my garden, just dragons! I think he/she must have a burrow somewhere under the scented geraniums. They sit dead still until they are sure you have spotted them, then disappear in a flash. And here are mum and bubs kangaroo, trying to look like statues? Lighting could be better, but unfortunately they nearly always visit at dusk, so not easy for photos. The fence is 1m high. Thank you for not calling them Frilled Neck Lizards which they are not and people keep calling them that. He blends in so well with the stick. I would much prefer lizards to fairies in my garden anyday Greth. In fact I collect them. Not the real ones obviously but I do have a fair few ornamental ones. I wonder if I could wittle one on a stick like that LOL! Great picture of the kangaroos too.
