Awwwwwwwww! Once when little guy was sick he got an ambulance ride and was given a stuffed koala by the paramedics. The toy has the traditional Australian eye-sparkle and is named "Twinken". But the real thing is cuter!

Aaawwww shucks. Tried not to say it but how can you not when those little bears look so scrummy and vulnerable. Are they friendly Steve? Could you go up and touch it without it trying to get away? Do they bite or scratch?
Not so hung up on kangaroos. Bit like giant rabbits with pouches IMO LOL!!

I havent seen a koala in my garden yet but have seen them in my street they are mainly nocturnal so they may visit and i dont know but they are in all the surrounding forest. They are fairly docile and you can approach them and you can pick them up if you are careful of their sharp claws as some of you have seen when I had one in my kitchen. They are heavily protected so you arent supposed to bother them in any way. The kangaroos are in my garden but they only eat the lawn and are very friendly.
