Here are two very good danish garden with a lot alpine-plants.

Both look well worth a visit, some of the planting looks quite new, the troughs in particular look very white with no sign of moss and lichens on them. I guess these gardens are both evolving at the moment.

I bet that was a fun place to tour. I would LOVE to look those troughs over and see the contents. I have been successful growing my own moss with yogurt. It doesn't work overnight but it does work. The first time I 'painted' the boulder with yogurt, I found my dog later licking it off.
