It seems that mine (although invasive) have alot of basal foliage and then every now and then a stalk will come up and bloom. I have seen pictures of say Beautiful Trust that has alot of blooms coming up together. It is frustrating that mine do what they do. Any thoughts?

I get confused between Campanula punctata and C. takesima (takeshima, takesimana - what is the correct name?)
I presume this is C. takesima. Has actually come back after the bushfires. ![]() This I guess is C. punctata. I bought another Campanula which had Campanula Rust and this plant caught it!!! Fires fixed that problem!!!! ![]()

I have long been confused by the "differences"(?) between C. punctata and C. takesimana too! I finally found one reference that described winged petioles, and some other differences, on C. takesimana.
However, now I'm confused again since Graham Nicholls, in his new Dwarf Campanulas and Related Genera, has an entry on "Campanula punctata (synonym C. takesimana)... perhaps I should be relieved instead?
