blue plant/tree

Posted 08-25-2010 at 06:11 AM by aidylsa
I like to know the name of a plant that grows near Tex/Mex. border. It was also sold locally as a standard. It has deep blue flowers and shinny green leaves. It is an annual in Illnois.
Here is a picture of the plant...thank you

You may be wondering why there is a shed inside the new shed. That houses our solar batteries etc, these will move into the new one as soon as we can get some roof and walls up. The shed will relocate over the water pumps beside the main tank. DH has cunningly placed the shed posts so that the batteries can remain covered...

The completed top end, with paths mulched! Looks too good to be ours, hehe.

The lower end still looks very familiar, just a bit more weeding before I can get it to the same standard.

A couple of small shrubs at the nearer edge had to be removed as they were right in the line of the pavers. They were lime balm and salad burnet, have been divided and moved into some newly revealed empty spots. There were self seeded spares around anyway.
