Now the season has broken, autumn is here, so will update on everything.

We have improved the playground area, compare the pics from last winter, with flood..
Im currently moving loads of beautiful compost and chicken manure into the vegetable patch, and starting all my winter vegetables. Have to weed as I go, its been so dry over summer I let most of the patch just grow over and didn't try to grow much.

hi,did I say lovely rain,I will take that back,nealy 3 weeks of rain,some poor people are flooded out lost all they possess,some on roofs waiting to be rescued,and some waiting for the water to arrive down stream,I was right the weeds love it I will have to get stuck in to them tomorrow ,but farmers are happy,looking forward to bumper crops Brian in Oz

It's been a good week. Lots of sunshine (always improves my mood) and warmer temps so the snow is melting away and things are poking up out of the ground. Now the battle begins to keep the critters from grazing on them! You'd think with all the bird seed out there on the ground they wouldn't have to eat my tulips. Sprayed everything with that stinky critter be gone stuff. P U! But it helps.
