Clematis Urophylla "Winter Beauty"

My Clematis Urophylla "Winter Beauty" has just flowered. It is planted outside in my garden (not in a container) and it is quite amazing considering that just a couple of weeks ago we had deep snow and the temperature was down to -6 degrees centigrade (measured on my garden thermometer)

Canadian GBs will probably be laughing at this - but hey its all relative!

Sorry pictures are a bit blurred - the flowers are so white it's difficult to bring out the detail.

We can laugh all we want, but we don't have your beautiful urophylla blooming outdoors here. The only white winter beauty at the moment is hoar frost. I am impressed, congratulations!
