Found this link. I will put them in the fridge for a month(dry).

Sure, for storage, dry storage in the refrigerator is fine... (but it isn't accomplishing stratification, for those seeds that actually need it... my only point)

I have grown Yellow Wonder from Pinetree and two other red ones. I keep them in the fridge dry. They last for years. I can't remember if I germinated them in the fridge or not. I did notice the yellow seedlings to be more fragile than the red. They damped off a bit. I do have a few plants in a strawberry pot. The did OK last year. We'll see how they do again but they are more robust and fill in better in the ground.

I was side tracked with starting the strawberry seeds. It only took 4 days to see my first sprout above the sand. They are about 8 days old.

Starting to take off. Another week they will be put into cups. By the end of July, I would like to have them planted outside. I may keep a few in cup/pots to bring indoors, hopefully they produce some berrys to try in the fall.

I plan on getting these transplanted tomorrow or Sat. What I am wondering is, do you bury the stem, and have the crown just above the surface of the soil?

I suggest starting your seeds in 2x2 cube seed trays, or one seed per cup. It took me a couple hours to get them transplanted and it wasn't a fun job. Some were so close I didn't bother trying to get them apart, one, two or maybe three went into a cup. Some random pictures, will update again if I have any fruit.
