Captain Kirk has turned out to be one of my favorite hostas. It starts out with the center being lime green and then as it grows in some sun you get this wonderful lemon yellow center. It is a sport of 'Paul's Glory'. The fern in the right corner is Sensitive Fern and it is a fast grower.

This is how it looks here. I read in my Hostopedia it's a sport of Gold Standard. But it really is a beauty - whoever the parents are!
